Adaptive Liquid
Infrastructure Stand

APRL’s workhorse fluid test stand

Project Overview

The Adaptive Liquid Infrastructure (ALI) stand was APRL’s primary engine testing platform from 2024 to 2026. As the direct successor to Test Stand μ, it carries over many key fluid system specifications, with design changes focused on streamlining hot-fire testing at FAR. The design allows for the stand to be transported in a pre-assembled state, eliminating nearly all onsite assembly. The stand also features reduced pressure losses and a sturdier engine mounting structure. As of 2026, the stand has been used to perform 8 fires of our μ series engines, and remains on standby for future engine testing.
